We're Having...

As of a month ago, we found out we are having another girl! I was a little bummed but than my genius husband made a good point. He reminded me that now we will be less poor than we already are because we have all the girl stuff. And when I say, "less poor" I mean those were his exact words. So the idea of having another girl is sounding better and better everyday. Evy is excited to have a little sister and I am excited to be "less poor". Awwww... the wise words of my husband :)!

Halloween Pics

These are really late but I'll still post them. Evy was the Little Mermaid. My favorite phrase of the night came from her when she said, "Mommy, Mermaids don't where panties!" She kept insisting that panties were unnecessary, I said other wise. I thought she looked pretty dang cute.

California Vacation

We just got back from our "vacation" on Monday. We saw some family but mostly went for Roy's best friends wedding. He was the best man and Evy was the Flower girl. I wish I had taken more pictures but honestly I was too busy chasing her around while Roy watched from the ceremony. Evy looked beautiful and the wedding was great. I was just a little tired. We went to San Francisco after and ate breakfast at my favorite restaurant. By the time we actually sat down we had waited in line for 2 hours. It was worth it! My eggs were killer! We then went to the Zoo and had tons of fun. The lions were cool. There is a picture that I'll post of Evy after playing with some rocks, if you look closely she's got a dirt mustache, Roy and I thought it was pretty funny!

Wow, I am Depressed!

So for all of you that don't know, Roy works for Wachovia. And if you haven't heard, Wachovia is going down the crapper. I had a really positive attitude until Roy called me today and asked what I thought about moving to Canada. Really.... Canada. I'm not cut out for cold, harsh winters. Now I don't know if he was joking, but it definitely was not funny. So now I have decided for the rest of the day I am going to lie in bed, eat Oreo's and think about life in Canada. I hate Wachovia!

I thought I should post this picture just to make people laugh. Roy took this very early in the morning and I woke up to him laughing very loudly. It looks like I went to the bathroom in the middle of the night and when I pulled up my underwear I took the toilet paper roll with me and dragged it to bed. All of this without tearing it! I almost peed my pants laughing so hard when he showed me the picture. He also took a video but I don't know if I am brave enough to post that. I hope you guys get a good laugh!

Evy's Third Birthday Party!

I just found my camera and thought I should post some pictures of Evy's birthday. We went to Evy's favorite restaurant, Outback. All of our family came and we had tons of fun. I kind of felt like crying the whole night, she's growing up so fast.

It's been a While!

As someone pointed out today, it has been a while since I have posted anything. Lots of things have happened in the past two months. Roy's family visited, Evy had a birthday, Evy and I started school and.... drum roll please.... I found out that I'm pregnant!

It seems that all the "hard work" paid off. Except from being tired of throwing up, we are super excited. I'm 9 weeks and am due at the end of April. It seems that the Gallagher Family is getting bigger!

So I hope this post redeems me a little bit from not posting. I don't think I could have come up with anything as exciting as this news.

The Best Night Ever!

So here are some of the pictures that I took from the night. The party was not as much fun as I thought it was going to be, but the book was spectacular. I stayed up to an undisclosed time reading the book. I was pretty tired. As you can tell, my mom got pretty tired and a little funny, she thought the neck biting picture was great! I hope you guys like the book as much as I do. And I yes, I did dress up and participate in a costume contest! WOW, I am weird!

Baby Making

Who knew baby making was so difficult? I have definitely come to the conclusion that getting pregnant the first time was way too easy. Evy in every way possible was a surprise baby. So when Roy and I finally thought that it was a good idea to add to the Gallagher Clan I was under the misapprehension that things would happen like before. We'd have crazy fun and then a couple weeks later we would be pregnant. Well I have learned that it is not so easy- 6 months later and I am pretty warn out. I don't really hear Roy complaining but I had no idea how much emotional energy I put into this. Anyways... just felt like venting.

TWILIGHTERS UNITE

As some of you may know, Breaking Dawn, the fourth book in the Twilight Series, comes out August 2nd at midnight. Lately I find myself laying awake at night giggling with excitement, if you're thinking that's weird, you're probably right. I have recruited my mom and sister and a couple of friends to go with me for the release party. I wanted to dress up but my mom has said she won't go with me if I do. So with my creative juices being stifled I have decided to do a simple "Team Edward" T-shirt. I pray I am not the only semi-adult to come with Twilight Merchandise, and hopefully my mother will still love me and be proud. This is a call to arms for all Twi-Hards to show there true colors and stand up for their obsession!

The other night we sat down for a dinner at the table and Evy was being particularly nasty. She was not in the mood to eat. Roy and I then proceeded to have an argument over what we should and shouldn't do to get Evy to eat. When we turned to look at Evy she looked like this.

Evy has seen me at my drafting table so much she decided to start working on her own drafting skills. And she drew me a picture. She's so dang cute!

I'm really, really tired!

This week was midterms for summer semester. I had a huge project for one of my design classes. It took up a whole lot of my week. I haven't been this exhausted since we brought Evy home from the hospital. So today I decided to take a nap. It was glorious. Somehow I've woken up in a better mood. I love naps!! I'm pretty tired of school and sometimes think I am crazy to keep going but I keep picturing me at graduation. Maybe someday things will become normal, but I highly doubt it!

Wakeboarding at the lake!

Roy and I went to the l ake with our friends the Iacano's. It started out raining and turned into an awesome day! We ended the day with tubing and as you can see I became a little sick. Served me right, 20 minutes before that I had a quesadilla and onion rings. Caution: Tubing and fried food not a good combination!

4th of July Party

Our family, my parents and my sister's family joined the Cheney's for a 4th of July party with Fireworks. We had lots of fun and even more fun lighting the fireworks. To put it lightly, Evy was afraid of the fireworks. As we begin to celebrate this great holiday I am extremely gratful to be apart of this country and to enjoy the freedoms that so many others have to fight for. We truly are a blessed people. I am proud to be an American. Some how I feel like breaking into song :).

Am I obsessed with Twilight?

If you ask my husband that same question, you will get an astounding, "Yes". I have been contemplating on this. Has my innocent hobby turned into an obsession. I think so. I went to pick up the paperback version of Twilight. The checkout man then preceeded to tell me how much I was going to love the books and I should hurry to get to the next ones. I kind of laughed at him. Let's just say that I have read them more than once. But what is wrong with that? I like them, I love them. At the end of a long day, I like to curl up on my couch and indulge in my guilty pleasure. Into a world where men are ridiculously romantic and adventure is an everyday thing. Maybe I would read less if my husband put some more effort into the romance department. At the moment, romance is considered a night in front of the TV watching Ultimate Fighter. Which, by the way, is pretty good. So what it comes down to is: I am a Twilight obsessed woman who occasionaly likes to watch Ultimate Fighter. And I think there's nothing wrong with that :).

Swimming at the pool

Evy woke me up today asking if she could go swimming. So we went to the pool with Zed (the 18 month old I babysitt), my sister and her son, and my mom. We had lots of fun. We swam, ate lunch and went home. Bryce, my nephew, has decided he likes Diet Coke, must take after me :).

Big Girls go in Potty!

Evy and I are in the middle of tackling potty training this week. She has surprisingly done awesome. It kind of makes me sad because she is officially not a baby anymore. She's a big girl. A big girl who sometimes wants me to hold her like a baby :). I never thought I would be super excited over poopy in the potty, but I am.... man, I love being a mommy!
